I am a recording, mixing, and mastering engineer based out of Toronto, Canada. I attended the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College and have worked with some of the best people in the industry. I have been working as head engineer at SlipOne Digital Studios, and have amassed a great wealth of knowledge and experience there.

I love taking a project from start to finish; from pre-production to final mix. Working with a band or artist and taking their vision and making it a professional reality. That's what I can provide. Whether it's recording at the studio with vintage Neumann mics through an SSL console or mixing your project with professional grade gear from Focal, Adam, Slate, Avid, etc., I will provide you with the professional level of quality that you expect when working with an engineer.

If you have already recorded and mixed your project, and you are looking for that final step in the process to polish, and get it ready for distribution, then I can provide that as well. My job as a mastering engineer is not to completely change how your record sounds, it is to take your sound and just put some shine on it and bring it up to a competitive loudness level as well as embedding any meta data for duplication. I am also provider of Mastered for iTunes.

For me it is all about making the music stand out in the crowd and get your message across in the best way possible.

Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Analog processing on the way in and digital for mixing and mastering. The issue isn't about sound quality anymore, it is about workflow.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Pick the one you feel the most comfortable with. You could be working with a grammy winning engineer and hate it because you just don't click.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Just because someone said you shouldn't doesn't mean you shouldn't.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: My favourite type of music to work on would have to be anything Rock, but I have enjoyed working on projects ranging from Symphonic Metal to Singer/Songwriter.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: As for musicians I would have to say a tie between Ian Thornley and Myles Kennedy. For production professionals I would have to say Eric Ratz and Dan Brodbeck.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most of my work consists of recording and mixing full bands.
