Rob Syvret on SoundBetter

Clean, precise, detail oriented engineer who's goal is to go beyond your expectations and to make you smile when you first press play. No drama, no gimmicks, the way making music should be!

Mixing - I impart my own sound onto a mix which has been described as clean and huge. I have mixed and mastered artists from around the country and locally through my residential recording studio.

My mix process:
1) Edit and gain stage all audio to ensure integrity of audio quality entering plugin's and equipment.
2) Clean any audio anomalies such as: mouth clicks, click track bleed, breaths, buzzing guitars, etc.
3) Tune vocals and trigger high quality, custom made drum samples (both of which are upon request and at no additional cost)
4) Start mixing

Send me an email through 'Contact' button above and I'll get back to you asap.

Robert did a fantastic job on my track. He captured the sound and "feel" I wanted perfectly. He is extremely talented and very skilled with all studio equipment and instruments. He is basically capable of doing anything you ask. Very recommended artist and a pleasure to work with.

  1. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  2. A: Rock, Alternative

  3. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  4. A: I can guarantee I won't say the project has been completed until you are 100% happy with it.

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: I cultivate my style from every musical genre from the 1950s to today.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: I bring my own sound and style which is very specific to me. I let the natural flow of the song move me and direct me to where it is going to end up. I also am great at taking direction to do exactly as I am told!

  21. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  22. A: You are the voice and the person you hire is how your voice is heard.

  24. A: My acoustic guitar because everything else would require power!

  25. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
