  30. A: Hip Hop R&B

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Over the years I have learnt how to listen emotionally and objectively to music. I am a rapper so I understand what mosts artists are trying to convey and the recording process. I am a DJ so I understand the audience and how to approach the mix to get the message across the best.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring a clean professional yet fresh sound to every song. I study industry mixing tricks and give my songs a sense of relevance in terms of the methods I use to mix.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I always listen to the demo track first to get an idea of what feeling the artist is going for. After that I clean uo the vocals (noise removal, breathing, synch backing vocals and adlibs) the next step is to clean out the beat with the vocals in mind. I try and make sure each instrument is the best possible quality before I begin the mix. Once this is done I then mix my vocals to the beat and during this process I will adjust the instrument levels to fit the vocals.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I work from a humble home studio where excluding all my recording hardware I mix off Logic pro, Apple mac, KRK Rokit 5 G3 studio monitors

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I look up to the likes of Dr Dre, Rick Ruben, Mixed by Ali of TDE, Young Guru, Dave Pensado

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I usually receive recorded vocals and the instrumental separates and my job is to add my expertise to make the final song sound good enough to compete with other commercial recordings
