Hi. My name is LH. I've been working for 15 years as a studio engineer, and for 10 years as a live mixer. I am also a guitar player, a music producer and orchestrator, and music video director. Some of my work can be heard and seen on my website: http://gardenlodgestudio.com

I wish you to sell millions of copies of your next album. But you probably won't, and that's not because your music is bad at all...
So keep your money to promote your music and spend a fair price mixing and mastering your art!

  4. A: simple and efficient

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: Most frequently urban music, but I also work on world music (north african and south american), classical, rock, EDM, and even jazz...

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

We discuss together of the direction I took and what the client likes or not. I also get a list of details to tweak. I do a second version and send it for approval. Repeat if necessary. Usually there is no need for more than 1 or 2 revisions.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: It is an hybrid setup. I work with REAPER, listening thru Genelecs 1038s and Yamaha NS10s. Concerning analog equipments: nice vintage telefunken preamps, Tubetech CL1A compressor, Neumann and Trident equalizers, just to name a few.

  13. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  14. A: I grew up listening to Queen. But now I can get inspiration from a wide panel of artists and genres, provided that the music is good!

  15. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  16. A: I mainly record and mix independent artists, that I sometimes mix on tour, too. I also do some mastering work: I provide affordable analog mastering for independent musicians.
