I have been working with clients for the last two years as a professional in the field and my experience extends beyond that for another five years. I have worked with many clients across the eastern seaboard of the USA from Miami to Nashville, from Maryland to New York, with tons of different genres. To me, no project is the same or can be treated that way. I pride myself in working through each part of the creative process from start to finish without cutting any corners.
My investment in gear is a great way to view my investment in my craft. I have carefully selected the gear that I use to create the highest quality product I can. I have a wide range of great outboard gear along with industry standard plugins to run on your tracks. I feel that I am adequately suited to work in any type of environment with any type of genre with this setup.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I enjoyed working with Jada Vance she is an up coming country star. I mixed her latest few singles and actually loved them.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Biggest project is the EP's for the country record label I have been working with. Wild Sage Records.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I haven't actually looked yet. Im typing this on my first day here. Maybe ill run into someone though!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both. Analog processing is great. So is digital. They both have their place. Compressor are analog for me all day long though. Thats one I can't really stray from.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: We WILL take this record to the next level. You will like the work I have put into it.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The creativeness and the way to express emotions through music. The creative process is tons of fun. Especially when it comes from a RAW recording and you take it all the way to a completely processed record.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: Is mastering worth it? Yes it is. It is the second most important part of the process to making your record radio ready. It is an absolute must.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: People think mixing will fix a poor quality recording. It will not. Though I can piece it together with the track and make it sound better than it did, poor quality can only go so far.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What emotions are you trying to evoke from this record? Where do you see this record going? What are the messages we want to send with this record?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be very selective. Don't just go for what looks good. A lot of people are too good to be true and talk a big game. Its okay to take a risk on someone who is more honest and laid back. Give someone a shot. Chances are they will be good.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Ohhhh thats rough... My brand custom Kiesel Aries A6T, my laptop, my interface, my HS8's, and my AxeFX2.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: This is my career path. Im graduating with a music production degree from Berklee College of Music. Im loving it so far! This is my passion and desire!
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I am a very relaxed and fun. I like to work diligently and on schedule. Don't like to feel rushed on my clients work and like to be able to take in the music to cultivate the creative process.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Periphery - innovative and talented progressive metal band that is truly redefining the music industry.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Take your time and use your ears. Work slowly and carefully. Its better to make small moves and go back later and increase them rather than cutting out to machined not being able to get it back in the end.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Country, EDM, Hip-Hop
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Mixing and Mastering. Its my passion and i love making music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Creativity and emotion. I try to evoke as much emotion as I can from a song with a mix.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: It really varies. I start from scratch and build the tracks up on processing. Usually starting with the drum mix or percussion and layering it from there.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I have a very streamlined studio setup. I have a studio based around a Mac Pro running multiple DAW systems. Feeding out to my Focusrite Sapphire Liquid 56 with the OCTO-Pre which is feeding through light-pipe for increased I/O. Feeding my two sets of monitors, HS8's and Rokit 5 Gen 2's, this is a great setup for me. I have much, much more gear, but that is the basic setup from DAW to the output.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Mixing and Mastering for a lot of the Hip-Hop and EDM guys has been a mainstay through these summer months so far. I am currently working with a few modern country clients through a record label out of Nashille called "Wild Sage Records" to release a few EP's in the middle of the summer.
