Hi my name is JoGandhi I mix and process vocals mostly. I'm from Orlando fl I work with Kick push ent. and BacktoBack Movement group as well as a number of other artist. Though I like mixing and processing vocals I can mix beats or full songs also for free I just want the extra practice and the chance to work with new artist and make a great sound.

  2. A: just branching out to other artist who want quality songs

  6. A: both actually some analog give you the type of sound u want and some digital give you the sound you want

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: best quality I can produce ,countless hours ,complete dedication ,endless revisions, attention to detail.

  10. A: the sound I love working with other peoples voices and making them sound the best that they can and when I play the end result back and I can see there faces and know that they just in complete shock just pure joy makes me happy when I can make someone else happy with their sound

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: the biggest misconception is that people will want to sound like this person or that person I cant make you sound like anyone else but you

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: what do you want out of your music? because if you want anything out of it you have to work for it. you cant just want it you have to really want it.

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: look for quality over quantity just because the prices the have are high doesn't mean the sound the provide is good just because they have been at it a while doesn't mean there professional

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: probably a knife a flashlight a lighter a bottle and shovel

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: recording and producing great music with great people. ive have been doing this for over 8 years

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: I like to make things that you can layback and close your eyes and visualize the music and not just listen to it. I like to make songs that you have to start back over half way thru just because you feel like you didn't appreciate it enough the first time

  26. A: lorde, g-easy, adele , young thug, lil uzi vert , speaker knockerz because they all have perfect atmosphere in there songs

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: if your recording vocals anywhere its important to have a reflection filter, pop filter, and a good environment as in not a closet or a echoey room also a good volumn and space between u and the mic. Having those things makes a 100% difference in the processing and mixing steps of a song.

  30. A: rap rnb and alternative

  32. A: vocal processing

  34. A: clarity, quality, and atmosphere

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: usually I would have a instrumental ive already made for an artist sit down let them get a feel for it have them write to it then record them after as many takes as it takes get the sound we want process the vocal mix everything together( paying close attention to detail) then master the song and after hours of work then listen, revise,repeat.

  38. A: my setup isn't a lot I have a great mic, stand, pop filter, running thru a preamp, compressor and a gate. then I have a midi keyboard and a desktop computer with 32 gigs of ram and fl studios 11

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I don't really get inspired by the people so much as the sound they make when I hear a song and it takes me to another world I get inspired and think how can I make something like this

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I record them on to the song, process the vocals, mix them into the song, and master the track.
