Let's work on finishing up your tune and finding your sound! I'm a huge Indie pop, folk, rock fan and love working on a wide range of music, a fan of a good song above all else! Have a full studio and play everything (vintage drum kit fully miked up/too many guitars and amps/bass/keys etc.). I can also do bgvs and I mix everything. Vocal production is a huge passion and helping you to find your sweet spot sonically is my favorite thing!

Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I co-own a small record label named ALLSWELL Records with my buddy Jason where we release all of our new stuff. I'm working on my second solo record. He and I are also working on his next solo record, ØZWALD record 7 and a bunch more covers we do for fun/sync in between.

Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: The song is the most important thing. I write my own solo stuff, in my band ØZWALD and help with my buddy Jason Wade (lifehouse)'s solo productions. Being an artist also, I try to stay out of the way of the song itself and respect the vibe that thing musician is going for and just support it with as much vibe as I can.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Love hearing the artist's song first, and some references can help or just a direction. Really enjoy the remote workflow of getting in and just trying things to see what feels like it fits in the song. A lot of times it might be the opposite instrumentation that we thought going in, but usually the song decides for us.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Recently bought an old Altec mixer which has been such a blast to use on everything - I recorded everything on my solo record here which is worth checking out. Have a vintage drumset that's always mic'd and ready to record, a collection of awesome 60s guitars, a Wurlitzer and Organ. All of the tasty treats.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Such a fan of all that is happening in the Indie/Folk world right now. Andy Shauf, Julia Jacklin, Sam Evian. Huge fan of self-recording artists like myself who play/produce everything themselves and all of the fun vintage sounds that have seemed to become at the forefront of the genre.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Most artists send me their vocals and an accompanying instrument whether it be guitar or piano, and I finish out the rest of the production/mix with the artist.
