  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: Feel free to contact me for anything you may need. Consultation is free.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: -Subtractive EQ works most of the time for any instrument -Less is more -Make the best possible music first, recording, mixing and mastering will basically take care of itself (of course, with its proper care) -Be always prepared for recording before stepping a foot in the studio, this allows you to have some free time to be more creative on the studio and record the basic things quicker, it basically makes everything better for everybody

  5. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  6. A: Production for local singer-songwriter projects (acoustic-alternative-pop). Rehearsing with a new musical project currently called "Zahra". (Alternative Disco Pop) On all social networks, check us out: @zahramex

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: Guitar

  9. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  10. A: Self producing my band´s first album (Monte Real). Having that out was a dream come true and one of my goals in life.

  12. A: Not that I know of at the moment.

  14. A: Both, Digital is cheap and accessible and Analog brings in quality, make the most out of both ends to make ends meet.

  16. A: Guaranteed jobs until you are satisfied with the end product.

  17. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  18. A: Freedom of creativity, limitlessness on ideas, being able to colaborate with people from all walks of life on music, something that I consider a great phenomenon occurring in our species.

  19. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  20. A: Cost of mastering a song: $10 dolars per song at the moment.

  22. A: What they look for in prouction or music creation.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: Since 2009, when I decided to drop out of studying Social Work in Monterrey, México and coming back to my hometown of Nuevo Laredo, México to start making my own music.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Alternative-Pop-Dance-Disco-Soul-Funk.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Roosevelt, Arcade Fire, people in my city and community and region. We need more support from one another to make our music projects grow, and have more cool stuff going around near us.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: Acoustic, Alternative, Rock, Pop.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Empathy, Teamwork, Easygoingness, Laidbackness, not being a pretentious ass that imposes stuff on people.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: Understanding. I believe that when I work with a musical project, the musician has to have the most support possible that there can be for his vision and goals. Musicians usually don´t have the world in their favor, that is why we need to support each other. Change the current world vibes to a more positive frequency for everybody.

  36. A: Presonus Firestudio Project x2 Yamaha HS5 Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Fender Rumble 100 Bass Amp Gretsch Catalina Club Drum Kit Akai MPK 261 AKG, CAD, Shure and MXL Microphones (Drums, Guitar, Vocal, Condenser mics)

  37. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  38. A: Recording, Production, Live Performance, Live Sound, Music Education.

  39. Q: What's your typical work process?

  40. A: Talk to band, get to know them, have people to relax and feel as comfortable as possible so that the music comes out great, flow with the band member´s energies, exponentiate their output on the recording and just make the best music possible.

  42. A: Roosevelt, Arcade Fire, Gustavo Cerati, Soda Stereo.
