I am a music producer with a bachelors degree in music business from SUNY Fredonia, and have written, performed, mixed, and produced dozens of songs for myself, friends, and clients for over 10 years. I am proficient using Pro Tools and have a great ear for molding the perfect sound that is pleasing and upholding to the artists vision.

I currently offer all forms of audio production over the internet. I perform and record songs out of my West Sedona home studio using a wide range of live and virtual instruments including guitars, basses, drums, drum machines, percussion, synths, pianos, organs, loops, sound effects, etc, as well as live male and female vocals. I also offer any type of writing, performing, recording, mixing, editing, arranging, and audio production services. I am a proficient guitarist as well and am available for session work in Arizona or over the internet.

  1. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  2. A: I have sung and played saxophone for over 17 years, and have played guitar for over 10 years. I started doing home recordings in 2006 with a Tascam 8 track porta-studio. After years of using this unit and eventually Pro Tools, I developed my ear and recording skills to a professional level.

  4. A: Never let the song lose its soul.

  5. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  6. A: What is your vision? What is the purpose of the song/project? What emotions or message is your song trying to convey.

  7. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  8. A: Recording and producing 2 original songs for a private client.

  10. A: That I will do my best to uphold your highest vision of your song or project.

  12. A: I get to paint and create beauty and art with sound. What's not to love.

  14. A: Know what your vision is and how to express it verbally.

  15. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  16. A: A Fender Stratocaster. A Fender Champ Amp. A portable 8 track recording unit. An SM57. A pair of headphones.

  18. A: In the moment. Whatever it takes to create beauty and art.

  19. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  20. A: Frank Ocean. He is so ahead of his time in terms of originality and production.

  21. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  22. A: Original RnB, Soul, Hip Hop, and Pop songs.

  23. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  24. A: Cultivating and allowing the beauty to shine through a song.

  26. A: A vast knowledge and understanding of music theory, history, and instruments as well as a creative and balanced ear.

  28. A: I run Pro Tools with an M-Audio Fast track interface and M-Audio BX5 studio monitors. I also use an M-Audio Axiom 25 midi controller and a padded vocal booth.

  29. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  30. A: Writing, co-writing, performing, recording, mixing, and producing original songs and projects.

  31. Q: What's your typical work process?

  32. A: Record the foundation of the song and let it evolve from there.
