Full service recording studio with video production capabilities located in Canton, OH. Featuring a spacious live room with 2 isolation booths, Lockwood Studios can handle large ensemble recordings with ease. With the latest Pro Tools software and a variety of plugins, we can take your project from the initial recording to the finished product.

The recording rooms at Lockwood Studios were built in the early 80's with help from Eagles drummer and Canton music legend Joe Vitale. Shuffling between various tenants through the years, Chief Engineer Nate Lockwood moved into the space in October 2015. After working as a freelance engineer on a variety of projects both in his home studios and at various studios in the area, Nate felt that opening Lockwood Studios filled a need for a full service studio in a large and well built space in Canton. Music clients have included jazz violinist Christian Howes, folk singer-songwriter Matthew Morgan and Hip Hop/RnB artist ErrolSpace. On the Commercial side, clients have included Skipco Auto Auctions and providing audio support for various video shoots with Henry J. Productions (including Toth Buick, Shanklin Heating and Cooling, Dave and Ed's Auto Events.)

Nate's formal education includes a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Technology from Capital University's Conservatory of Music and Advanced Certification from the Recording Workshop. Nate has worked in a variety of studios including Horse-Drawn Productions in Chicago, Sonic Lounge Studio in Columbus and Audio Recording Studio in Cleveland.

With Nate's experience and Lockwood Studios beautiful space, we feel that we are Stark County's best option for your musical project.
