  1. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  2. A: To make what's in their head what's coming out of the speakers.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: It's what I love!

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: Open, honest communication is key.

  7. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  8. A: My world is mostly around rock and pop, but I love ANYTHING that's good.

  9. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  10. A: I run a true analog and digital hybrid setup. I have 2 very powerful custom-built audio machines (one desktop, and a laptop for mobile gigs). As for interface I rock the tried-and-true Focusrite Saffire Pro 40.

  11. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  12. A: I'm a big fan of Andy Wallace mixes. Chris Lord-Alge is way up there, as is his brother Tom. LOVE the production and mixing of David Bendeth, Don Gilmore.

  13. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  14. A: The new Thieves & Lovers record, and various projects and different stages of completion.

  15. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  16. A: Scott Goodrich out of Nu-Tone Studios in lovely San Francisco, CA.

  17. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  18. A: Record it correctly. "Fix it in the mix" has never worked for anyone. Ever.

  19. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  20. A: In today's modern music landscape, both analog and digital are necessary.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: Over 10 years.
