Brian iele includes a FREE audio quality report on the mastering service that really helps you to get the most out of your mixes before mastering. Send us one unmastered mix and you will get a complete audio quality report in 48 hours.
We have found that most of the problems presented by a less than perfect mix can´t be fixed in mastering, so we invest almost as much time to review the audio quality of the mixes as to the mastering process itself. A Mix review process renders overwhelmingly superior quality mixes before even initiating the mastering stage.

The reason I will continue to work with Brian is twofold. First he did the best job mastering my music but just as important he took the time to review/critique the song and suggest what he felt should be changed before he worked on the song.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: Shoot the radio, "Opera Galaxy", was a good project and has won the Gardel Award in Argentina. I'm proud of that one. But i already did a couple of albums after that, that i like a lot too.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Many projects every week from different parts of the world. Thrilling and inspiring
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not yet. Maybe we should get together more often.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Anything that sounds "right" for the song. Both most of the times. Normally i take the time to compare different options
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The fact that it doesn't feel like working. Really.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That miracles are included with the job. :)
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: For mastering clients we ask for mixes audition before 100% completion so we can suggest technical changes that could help the final process.
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Be sure to give the engineer all the input you can about your proyect and expectations. I think that is the best way to get the results you are seeking.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Hi fi but with a touch of dirtiness when it's needed.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Authentic, real people.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Rock, Indie, Pop, Jazz, Electronic, EDM,
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: No "Typical" process, every song is a different word and needs possibly an unique approach.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My monitoring system. A console. My ears. A chair. A bottle of wine.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: judgement to understand what it needs.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Judgement when mastering. When mixing, I prefer my Job to speak for itself.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Hibryd Studio. Digital and Analog. Highly focused on quality equipment.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: When they are satisfied i'd try to make it even better.

A: Can I be present at the mastering session? Yes sure you can.

A: Coffee Boy, Assitant, Technician, Recording Engineer, Mixing Engineer, Masterin Engineer. All started long ago. Like almost 20 years ago.

A: Don't overthink it.

A: Many, in different ways. What inspires me the most, is authenticity.
