Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: The variety.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I am working on my songs at the moment, I wrote them 2 or 3 years ago but never recorded them.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Digital, it is the way I started making music.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Editing is maybe THE most important thing.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Most of the time I am working on urban music.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill is vocal editing, getting the right tune at the right time.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring it "home" :D
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: The cool thing is that I don´t have a typical work process because every new project is a different task, and it varies a lot. But what I really care about is to get the music/artist into the right spot.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Logic Pro X as DAW, Universal Audio Apollo Twin Duo, KRK Rokit 5 as monitors and Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro headphones. That´s all I need for now.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: There are so many inspiring musicians and mixing engineers out there, the list would be too long to name them all. But In fact, every new project inspires me in a very creative way. With music comes experience.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Sometimes, beatmakers and artists get to a certain point, where they can´t go further with a song or idea and they get stuck, but the project is obviously not ready yet. Maybe it is the instrumentation, the arrangement, the rhythm pattern, the chord progression, or simply the lack of editing that gives this incomplete feeling. Mostly, Beatmakers and artists ask me to finalize their song ideas, wherever the actual production stage is.
