You will never find a music dream-team better than Yotam, Adam and Yaron... they not only will play your song in a incredible perfect way but they will respect its soul and its spirit as if they had composed it by themselves... I have no words to describe their astonishing work... just the superb music they have created for my song... Thanks YAY!

I gave them a Ringo's song and they transformed it in a Lennon-McCartney-Harrison's song... I can't describe their astonishing talent with words... They are not only amazing musicians but also wonderful people :) This is the first time I can listen to one of my songs exactly as I had in my mind and I still wonder how could they do it... Thanks YAY

Interview with Yotam Harodi

  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I played in a band called the Goldman Brothers. A couple of years ago we recorded an album called Laneway 13 with the great Chris Potter. Chris is a wall noun record producer (the verve- urban hymns). working with him has just a great experience.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: Getting people excited about my work

  5. Q: How would you describe your style?

  6. A: People tell me I'm a pocket player. That means tight and groovy. warm sound and a musical approach are my guidelines.

  7. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  8. A: Always listen to the singer and don't steal his "Thunder".

  9. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  10. A: rock/pop/folk/country

  11. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  12. A: My strongest skill is listening. From my experience as a session drummer and a producer, I want to understand the song before I start recording the drums. that means looking for the song's needs and know when not to play or overplaying.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: usually, I play on a premier drumset. although, in the last year I built a mixed drumset. I got the bass drum and floor tom from my premier set and I got a vintage 12" tom and 14" floor that makes me wanna' cray. for the snare drum, I usually record with a Ludwig 14"/6" Black Buty. but I got 6 more that I can work with.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: Coldplay's first 3 albums, The Verve-urban hymns, zero 7 albums, Beck-Morning Phase, The Beatles-Abbey road, Paul Simon, Radiohead,

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: Usually, the type of work I'm hiring for is drums recordings for pop/rock/folk-country music.
