My name is Brian, I am the owner of Sonic Journey Studios. I have been mixing and mastering for four years along with EDM production. I have mixed live orchestral performances, rock bands, EDM, etc..

Sonic Journey Studios offers three main services; Mixing, Mastering, and Music Production. Communication is key, we work with you. The goal is to get your tracks sounding on point.

  1. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  2. A: Clarity.

  3. Q: What's your typical work process?

  4. A: I run through the song a few times mixing with just volume and panning, I'll then start EQing, followed by compression where it's needed, add a few misc effects, throw in some reverb, and whatever else might be needed. That's a very brief summery of what goes on.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I run Studio One Pro with Waves plugins for just about everything. I have a Sonic Maximizer, Graphic equalizer, a 12 Channel Mixing console, and a 8 channel firewire interface that I use for recording.

  8. A: I've learned a lot from watching Dave Pensado's tutorials.

  9. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  10. A: I do a lot of mixing and mastering.

  12. A: Who is your main source of inspiration? What type of sound are you looking for?

  14. A: I was a live sound technician for bands in the local music scene working for a company in my hometown. throughout the years I had been collecting studio equipment and recording/mixing for people. I've now moved on to just studio gigs. I have been doing this for four years.
