  1. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  2. A: sapphic records focuses on getting a good understanding of your music and desired sound to provide proffessional mixing tailored to suit your needs and take your music to the next level!

  3. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  4. A: Mixing, Beat Production

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: To get a good understanding of their expectations and desired sound to be able to customize the mixing session to achieve the best possible results.

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: If I'm actually stranded on a desert island then I guess.... Flint, tent, plastic container and foil for extracting fresh water from salt water and... a knife? But let's assume there are electrical sockets on this desert island and I'm not left for dead (Probably the real reason for this somewhat confusing question), I'd go for: The computer with all the software Audio interface (with cables) Microphone (with XLR) Monitors Headset Don't worry though, if I'm ever stranded on a desert island and operated my business from a bungalow, I'd give you not only discount, but also a fresh coconut (FREE of charge!) as a thank you for supporting the continuation of my business.

  9. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  10. A: To achieve crisp and clear sounding audio when mixing, study the frequency spectrum of the different instruments/elements used in your song, use an equalizer to get rid of or lower the db of the redundant / less important frequencies to avoid a "muddy" mix.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: Your song will be mixed by our engineer within the Digital Audio Workstation using our vast collection of software Plug-ins, optimal listening environment and industry standard monitoring systems.
