  1. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  2. A: Have a clear vision for your track, with some reference tracks.

  3. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  4. A: Sax, Laptop w Pro Tools and Ableton, SM7B Mic, Apogee Interface and an XLR!

  5. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  6. A: Been playing sax since I'm 10, performing since I'm 16 and producing for the past 8 years.

  7. Q: How would you describe your style?

  8. A: Pop Fusion - infusing Jazz Harmonic structures with Funk Bass lines and definitive pop vocals.

  9. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  10. A: Jay-Z. He's a visionary that's not afraid to think outside of the box and those are the creative minds that I love to be around and collaborate with.

  11. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  12. A: Reference tracks are a must to bring clarity to a project.

  13. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  14. A: Funk / Pop / R&B / Rock / Dance

  15. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  16. A: A consummate professional.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: Producer - I try to understand the vision of my client and bring my experiences and professionalism to any project. Saxophonist - I try to make the album jump even more, again it really depends on the situation, if it's a ballad, then I'm playing melodically and leaving space, if it's an EDM track then I'm blasting away trying to tear down walls.

  19. Q: What's your typical work process?

  20. A: Producer - have a meeting with my client and talk about the sound/vibe of the album and figure out some reference tracks to go off of. Saxophonist - have a meeting with my client to discuss what they want from me as a performer - specific parts to play or where to improvise a solo, any pertinent details to give the client what they are looking for.

  21. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  22. A: Project Studio for recording 1 part at a time and access to a Professional Studio for full band live sessions if need be.
