About Me

My earliest musical experience was playing clarinet in the school band when I was ten. I went on to play clarinet, saxophone, bass, and piano in jazz, rock, blues, and funk bands, as well as a classical orchestra. At Washington University in St. Louis I majored in physics and minored in Jazz Studies. I took 16 semesters of college-level music theory, composition, and performance classes, in both jazz and classical styles.

I started producing pop, hip hop, R&B, and electronic music in 2007. In 2012 I moved to Los Angeles and interned in the recording studios at Bedrock LA. That’s where I learned most of what I know about engineering, besides what I learned from studying on my own.
