  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I am proud of a project called the Love Mark. It was a collaborative effort between many friend with a wide range of talented in the studio and as musicians. We were all able to play a producer role, board engineer and an artist role. After such an amazing collaboration with writing, recording and tracking, I was able to mix and master the song with my own taste and style. This was a proud and very respectful project.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: My own and first EP.

  5. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  6. A: Both. If I am able to have both, I would do both.

  7. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  8. A: I will give you my best work.

  9. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  10. A: I love knowing that I can be a part of a piece of work, a group of talented artsist, a helpful hand to someones creative idea.

  11. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  12. A: How long have you been doing this? My answer is, not long, but Ive always wanted to do this and I have learned and still am learning as I go.

  13. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  14. A: The biggest misconception about what I do is that because I am new to the engineering, mixing and mastering as opposed to my vocal experience, that I may not be essential or knowledgable to be able to give a satisfying product back, but that is very wrong.

  15. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  16. A: Will you be able to get as specific as you can to me for the better of both of our work and product?

  17. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  18. A: Do not leave out any details of what you'd like done, fixed, adjusted to your work because after all, it is your product I am helping you with service in.

  19. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  20. A: A computer, Speakers, Microphone, guitar and drums.

  21. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  22. A: I have been a live singer growing up, and have found ways to feature on many artists eps as their female vocalist. This got me into the music production and recording arts degree program. I have been singing for over 10 years, but have ben mixing/mastering for about a year and a half.

  23. Q: How would you describe your style?

  24. A: Strong, smooth, soulful, and stylish.

  25. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  26. A: Any female singer/songwriters and producers. I am inspired by the females in this industry, and would love to work with those to gain a good perpective, experience, and guidance to get where I personally want to be, which is up in line with them.

  27. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  28. A: Repetition and minimalism can be key. Dont stick to just one pair of speakers or headphones to tell you how your music sounds.

  29. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  30. A: R&B/Soul for vocals. Rock, Pop, Raggae, Hip-Hop, R&B/Soul for mixing and mastering.

  31. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  32. A: Singing, mixing and mastering.

  33. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  34. A: I bring a new sound when I am able to sing for someones work. My harmonies and vocal content will be able to strengthen or smoothen out your track.

  35. Q: What's your typical work process?

  36. A: I typically listen to the whole product a few times while noting down certain specifics that I will need to give attention to. Once I have an idea of the tasks that need to be done, I get right to work.

  37. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  38. A: I have an AKG c214 and an ST51 Sterling Audio dynamic microphone with pair HS7 and Alto studio monitors. Included is a 49 key novation midi keyboard, an acoustic and electric guitar, a William concerto piano, mackie pro fx12 mixer, 2 sennheiser microphones and an M-Audio mobile pre audio interface.

  39. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  40. A: I am inspired by artists like Tori Kelli, Teedra Moses, India Arie, and Missy Elliot. They all are multi talented in and out of the studio, able to produce, compse, write, mix and master their own and others music.

  41. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  42. A: I can sing on your track, main top vocals or background with harmonies, or both. I can also work on mixing and mastering your already tracked songs.
