My name is Alvin Perkins and I am a native of Kansas City, MO. I have been in the music business for about 25 years in some capacity. I started out as a musician in the church as a drummer and transitioned to bass guitarist. I currently play keyboards and a music director at a church here in Kansas City, MO
I offer remote professional mixing, mastering sessions, and I arrange and compose tracks. I'm very versatile because I have a whole team including musicians , drummers, and singers in which I utilize on projects. Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: I like digital because there are so many limitless possibilities although I like the warm and authentic sound of analog.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Think outside the box!! There are many techniques to get a desired sound such as parallel compression, side chaining, vocal composition etc and not one way is the right way. Music production is like DNA. Your song might fit a profile or genre but make it your own. Be original!!

A: The most important thing I bring to a song are my ears. I know what a professional and hit record sounds like and I know mixing and mastering techniques to get the best out of a song
