Tony Livadas on SoundBetter

When people ask me what kind of music I produce, It's hard to answer. My ultimate goal is producing music and working with artists to bring their vision to life, regardless of genre!

I am here to to offer services of music production, composing, mixing and session guitar.
Ableton All day!

6 years ago I moved to LA from South Florida for the music and haven't looked back. There is a constant flow of extremely talented people to work with here and it only helps me get better while making awesome music in the process.

I started off as a musician playing guitar, sax, and piano. Post high school I started a recording studio which is where I learned to produce and engineer for my clients. After 8 years, I left the studio life to go on tour with my electronic group Brass Knuckles. Over the next 4 years we played shows around the world and worked with many great singers and songwriters.

Currently I am spending most my time back in the studio working with artists across a wide variety of genres as well as scoring for film and tv. Working in this way keeps me excited for new vibes every day! I look forward to working with you on your project!

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Tony was very professional, extremely fast turnaround time with quite a few stems to work with. Vague idea of what I wanted it to sound like, but it was like he read my mind; yet, he was still open to suggestions. Can’t recommend enough.

Interview with Tony Livadas

  1. Q: How would you describe your style?

  2. A: I am usually very musical in my productions. I like melody and a solid beat.

  3. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  4. A: I like to work with an efficient and simple setup which includes a loud set of speakers, midi keyboard, great mic, soundcard and compressor. I also like to be surrounded by my instruments. My equipment list is in my profile.

  6. A: I love being creative and helping other peoples visions come to life.

  7. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I usually work on pop, electronic, hip hop, and sould.

  17. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  18. A: I love taking a vocal and building music around it. I feel that It really lets the vocal standout without the music being to busy. A lot of the time I will build music around a popular vocal, then scrap the vocal and get a new singer on it.

  19. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  20. A: When it comes to producing I can offer my musical knowledge as well as technical skills. I am a quick worker and I am very familiar with the little things that go into making a song really shine as well as the creative side.

  21. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  22. A: I am inspired by a lot of the new electronic music coming out. Some of the sounds and production techniques that are being used are quite amazing.

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: I do production work such as helping an artist polish off and finish their idea, or building a track around their vocals. I work with producers to create remixes. I mix sessions and comp vocals to get them sounding radio ready.
