Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: Surely "with my eyes closed", one of my teachers and dear friend, Manuel Daniele. Another professional I recommend for his experience is the dear Vincenzo Mario Cristi, especially in the Punk Rock!

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: The relationship that is created between people, and the "power" of sound that involves us both physically / emotionally.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: The advice I would give to my clients is to be clear and sincere, explaining his project and his idea, so as to tell him right away if I can help him in reaching the goal, or if perhaps it is better to contact another professional.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Surely my Macbook, Pro Tools, Universal Audio Apollo, a good microphone along with a good headphone.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been in the business for a few years and I'm creating my credit portfolio. I started setting up a small control room inside a container, and after time and sacrifices, I moved to a more comfortable environment designed for my needs.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: I'm not an expert and it will seem trivial, but I always suggest to improve and give the maximum for your project / idea. You can achieve excellent results with a simple computer and free software.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I believe, the passion in the world of audio and the desire to learn by making themselves available to others.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: To the song that is commissioned to me, I always try to make, if the client agrees, some of my and my vision. I try to favor "the right instrument at the right time", so as to help the song convey its message / feeling.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: The studio was designed following three factors that I consider essential: 1) A good space, comfortable and acoustically treated; 2) A good pair of audio monitors, Adam S3V; 3) A good sound card, Universal Audio Apollo, which provides a good A-D / D-A conversion, stability and dsp that lighten the processor load of the mac. Out of this list, I add, an iMac that allows me to work in peace even in the most difficult sessions.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: At the moment all people are an inspiration for me, from the simple musician to the professional - engineer. I have a lot of respect for my mentors, professors and musician friends.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Usually customers contact me: For advice / audio technical advice; For feedback on audio material; To make one or more songs starting from pre-production to finalization; If they have worked elsewhere, for the mastering of their projects.
