Alexander Manuel Rodriguez II (A.K.A. Hades) is a freelance Engineer, Mixer, and Producer living in Sacramento, CA. Alex Grew up listening to Oldies, Funk, and Hip-Hop. At a young age he fell in love with the Hip-Hop scene. In High School he was into Break Dancing, Street Art, Djing, and the whole Hip-Hop Culture. Thru Djing and remixing tracks he fell in love with the art of recording, and decided to pursue a career as a audio engineer.
With his sights set on a career in the recording/audio engineer industry, Alex attended Pinnacle College in Rancho Cordova, CA and took their Recording Engineering program where he studied under some of the best and brightest faculty and industry professionals in the industry.
After graduation, Alex began his professional recording career at Granite Park Recording Studio. Spending countless hours assisting on projects quickly turned into projects and clients of his own, ultimately taking him into a freelance career, working in studios all over Sacramento. Working freelance, as is common among many engineers in town. It has allowed him to not only gain experience in a wide variety of studio environments, equipment, and consoles, but also allowed him to meet and work with a lot of writers, artists, players, and other engineers.
