Freelancer sound engineer specialized in editing (mainly vocals) and mixing. I worked for some famous italian studios such as "Fonoprint" and "Antoniano - Zecchino D'oro", recording vocals, editing them and mixing. In my small home studio I recorded lots of independent artists and songwriter, sometimes helping with the production phase.

I have a large experience in recording, editing and mixing vocals.
Recently I worked with the most famous kids' choir in Italy, recording and editing (timing and tuning) most of the solo vocals and choir parts of the 61st edition of the annual kids festival called "Zecchino D'oro".
In the past, during an internship, I had the chance to work in the mastering process too at "Fonoprint" studios.
Most of the time I work with independent artists of songwriters, who wants a professional product with a low budget.

Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I start speaking clear with the client, understanding what he needs. Everything needs to be clear upfront, in order to waste no time. I'll be very clear about estimated work time and my main goal is to send the work in time (in addition to fulfill all the client's requests).
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My main interface is an Apollo Twin Duo connected via thunderbolt with my MacBook Pro mid 2012 with SSD. For editing and mixing I always use Pro Tools (upgraded to 2018 version). My studio monitors are the Yamaha HS5. For a second listen I often use a pair of Apple EarPods or the Sony Mdr-7506.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: I love the clean approach of Fab Dupont and the creativity of Dave Pensado.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Usually clients send me vocals (sometime poor-recorded) to edit (time and pitch) and to mix it with an instrumental track.
