Binary Recording Studio has been in business for over 2 decades, offering award winning video and audio productions, located in Bellingham WA. We have had many top artist in our studio with many returning clients. At Binary we have two buildings, each one offers over 1000sq. ft., isolation rooms, voice over room etc.....

At Binary, we specialize in audio recording, Video production and A/V Post, blending the best of analogue and digital technologies. We also offer remote location Video and audio recording:
~ Compact system of digital multitrack or digital 2-track is available. Multi Camera and lighting, dolly, jib, etc...

  2. A: Both, they each have something to offer in the sound chain.

  3. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  4. A: The people and the music

  5. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  6. A: There are many labtop studios in bedrooms and living rooms which work fine but the mixes are not at the level that they can be. Binary Recording studio is a facility that has spent a lot of time and money in building a studio that can put out world class recordings. We have a large tuned control room with actuate monitoring which is very important. But equipment etc... is only part of it. Its the experienced audio engineer ears and skills that is going to give you a mix or master that can compete in the market

  7. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  8. A: The refrigerator in the waiting room because it has some food and water in it? duh!

  9. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  10. A: I have been a profession musician most of my life, being introduced to the studio by being a studio player. Have a University Degree in Music and been working in the studio full time for the last 30 years

  14. A: Don't over compress the song tracks!

  16. A: All types of music, we have different audio engineers that specialize in your music

  20. A: We listen to a song and help the song come to life through the lyrics and beat feel of the song

  22. A: When we get a song we listen to the song a few times just to get a idea of what the artist is saying. Then we begin bringing out the elements to create the emotion and energy that the song needs to tell its story
