MashBit on SoundBetter

A Producer is supposed to Listen to the Artist, and captivate all the feelings and emotions that said artist wants incorporated in a musical piece. Well, I'm a very good listener, and I'm ready to take your ideas and bring them to life successfully and efficiently. Oh, and I'm big into communicating. No dark business here.

Hey there! I'm MashBit, and I've been a fulltime producer for almost 10 years. I have gained over 2M+ Streams on my own project alone, and many many more in commissions and productions I have done for other artists.

Growing up, I have surrounded myself with almost every genre, and learned each detail, dynamic, and energy that makes said genre so successful.
I also went to college for music, where I improved my knowledge in music theory and psychology. Every melody is supposed to create a specific emotion, and I'm big into making sure that the track does just that.

Genres I've covered successfully:
- EDM (Dubstep, Trap, Future Bass, House, Techno, Moombahton)
- Hip Hop (Old School, Trap)
- Reggaeton
- Pop (both Ballads and the Electronic influenced ones)
- Rock
- Afrobeats/Dancehall

I am not scared of working on new genres, so talk to me, and let's make something sound amazing together.

Would love to hear from you. Click the contact button above to get in touch.

Absolutely amazing! MashBit is a super nice guy to work with. He is a good listener, an excellent producer, as well as a warmhearted friend :)

The experience of working with him has been very pleasant and the results really met my expectations! He will definitely be your top choice if you want to try some "new things" in your track and want it to sound more professional.

Hope to work with him again in the future.

Interview with MashBit

  1. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  2. A: Keep learning and never refuse to learn new things

  3. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  4. A: Usually I go with EDM based tracks, as I'm mostly in that genre, but in the past couple years I've studied and been commissioned for work such as Reggaeton, Pop, Rock, Afrobeats and Hip Hop.

  5. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  6. A: Personally I take pride in my melody and chord progression building skills. I've studied the psychology of music, and being able to bring emotions out, as we mentioned before, is something that I took long time and care to perfect.

  7. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  8. A: Emotions and Words. Not every song has lyrics to speak some emotions, and my job is to make sure that the song itself can convey the emotions that you want to express.

  9. Q: What's your typical work process?

  10. A: Melody and drums have to be the most important part in a song. They create a feeling and a bounce for the overall track. Usually I start with those elements and everything else comes with the flow.

  11. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  12. A: Simple but effective: Two precise Adam T7V Monitors, M-Audio 49ES Key Station, Big Knob+ Audio Interface, Two Screens, Audio Technica Headphones, various instruments. All in an acoustic treated room.

  13. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  14. A: Productions, Co-Productions and Ghostproductions of musical pieces.
