Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: I worked on a song with another singer on this site. Its ready to be released and has been worked on and tweaked for about 2 years now. I'm really proud of the evolution of the song. I'm the song writter and the male vocalist on the song. It's called hallucinate and will hopefully be out soon.

Q: What are you working on at the moment?

A: I'm working on new music for myself constantly with my producer. I've got 3 new pop songs in the works and also a dance song with a prodction team in America. I'm never not working on music and finding new ways to involve collabs or new aspects to my songs is always exciting.

Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

A: I've worked with a wonder singing named Claire ( https://soundbetter.com/profiles/176352-claire ) she helped me on a pop song a few years ago, and now we follow each other on socials and give praise to eachothers on going work. Great person to work with.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Digital for sure. 99% of the things i do in my life require digital assets. Music, editing, filming. I take pride in all my work and its great to have it all be digital and easy to use.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: I'll always promise the highest quality product possible. I always been open to changing things and improving my craft where possible. I will also promise quick and timly results.

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: I love the free time it gives me to work on my skills. Being able to do music, editing and all my other hobbies really makes it fun to work.

Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A: Question: Can you sing this style of song with a bit of a pop aspect. Answer: I can make the song more my own if thats what you want. My primary style is pop so more often than not it comes out sounding a bit more in line with that genre.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

A: I do get people asking if I'll do stuff for free the first time. Which as a vocalist is tough, it takes hours to learn a song well and then even longer to record studio ready vocals. for start to finish a whole song can sometimes take 8-10 hours.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: I always ask what theyre looking for from me first. Then I'll ask about the porject they want me to do and how it needs to be portrayed.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A: I work quick but my quality is always to a high standard. I will rare reject a project as I like to try anything I can. I have quick communication so we'd always have a greta back and forth in terms of getting everything right.

Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

A: Id take a piano to keep myself sain, food supplies, a knife of course, a fire starter and pencil and paper to write songs.

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been singing all my life, but doing vocals for people and clients and my own songs for about 7 years. I also wanted yo record songs, but I dont like singing live on stage so performing wasnt really an option for me. Id like to be a recording artist first and anything else that comes with that.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: I would say y voice is a current pop voice. I don't have a slower low voice but can defiently reach those notes if needed. I think my style also adapts the song I'm doing, my tone is always the same but I'll often change how I sing as song based on how upbeat or sad its meant to be.

Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

A: Id love to work with Mimi Webb on a duet one day. I feel her genre of music and how she sings would work well with my vocal style. Or collab with Alexander Stewart on a song.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Also record the best dry vocals possible. Auto tune and pitch correction can be a great tool, but if the foundation isnt strong the song will fall apart.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I usually work on pop and pop rock songs. I do enjoy doing ballads or slower songs as well, but I feel my voice is best suited for dance and more upbeat generes.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I like to think vocals is what I exceed at. I love to sing, and also love trying my voice on songs I'd never do myself. I love coming up with vocal runs and riffs and try and keep my style feeling unique on any song I do.

Q: What do you bring to a song?

A: I try and bring a unique sound to the song im covering or writing. Its good to stand out especially these days. I recently worked with a client who wanted a whole new take on a song while also keeping the basic structure inplace. I like to think he was happy with how I tweaked the melody and BPM to make it fit my voice better.

Q: What's your typical work process?

A: If I'm working with a client whom required vocals for an exsiting song. I'll typically spend a couple of days learning the song and making sure I can do it justice. Then I'll send demos back and forth to make sure everything is to their liking. before sending a finished product we're both happy with.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: My studio set up is all from home. I have FL Studio producers edition, AT2020 USB Microphone and a sound proofed room to get the best vocals possible.

Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

A: My music is inspired by artist like Alexander Stewart and Joshua Bassett. More indie singers that carry a lot of emotion in their music but also make catchy and replayable songs.
