Wrote over 200 songs for clients in 2023. Track finisher/remixer, turning the ideas in your head into something tangible. I specialise in vibey Pop & Rock tracks that have character.
SERVICES.
I offer production for pre written demo tracks, tracks written from the ground up, session playing
and mixing services.
HOW I WORK.
For pre written demo tracks, I can take a demo recording (can even be a phone recording)
and build a track to a professional quality, using industry standard, top of the line instruments and recording equipment.
For tracks written from the ground up, I can take reference tracks and write a full song complete with lyrics and a guide melody for vocals.
THE PROCESS
A first "demo" is made of song to make sure the track is in the right direction, after track is ok'd the track will be completed.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I was super proud to work with The Dahli, one of the singers from a band I used to like growing up. was awesome to bridge a gap between growing up with music, and working with it now.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: I'm constantly working! I've done over 250 finished songs since 2019.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: Not... yet!
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both! would be a fool to not use all the tools at your disposal.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: That were not done until we're both happy.
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: getting obsessed with a song i'm writing.
Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A: How many hours do you work a week? My answer? i'm always working.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That bad vocals fix themselves. They don't.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What do you expect of me, what do you want your end result to be? What music did you listen to 5 years ago that you still listen to now?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Talk to your producer about something other than music too!! get to know the person. THIS REALLY HELPS.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: Fender Telecaster, Vox AC30, Juno 106, a 808 drum machine, and something to record it all with.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I started Producing 16 years ago, but only made the leap to doing this professionally 5 years ago! could never have the time for my "real job" and my producing job, one had to go!

A: Listen with your ears not your eyes.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: I normally work on everything from Indie Pop to Metal, and sometimes a mix of both, but i've got a super soft spot for new pop music, really love doing that.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: My strongest skill by far would be 100 percent making something out of nothing,
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring my entire personality to a song, I can't sleep when I'm excited about something, ill obsess over the little details.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Talk to the client first before agreeing on anything, need to make sure were on the same wavelength, then if were all good, get a demo rushed out to make sure everything is going in the right direction.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: My studio is pretty much a guitar shop, (52 and counting) I have some super rare guitars and amps in here, from some original Höfners, to an original first run Fender Super Reverb, but it doesn't mean I have no love for the modern stuff too!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Anyone with a bit of vision, something different. any genre, just someone that stands out. Rob Swire, Butch Vig, Timbaland, Oak "Downtown" Trevor Brown.
