Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: A track by my alter ego 'Marc Samuel' called 'you know'. I produced and co wrote the track and it was the first time I felt proud of my work.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Music for Olivia Rose and others, also trying to define my sound.
Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?
A: I haven't used it much yet so I don't know.
Q: Analog or digital and why?
A: Both, Digital is dangerous to the music tech world in a positive way, the things you can do is crazy. But the sound out of analog is just the best.
Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?
A: I will work as hard as I can to create your vision

A: Having the power to change peoples lives with your music.

Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: That I am too young.

Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Make sure they have a vision.
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My Laptop, My headphones, My midi keyboard, my rockits and a microphone.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: My career is just starting, I'm trying to shape my path now.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: I try not to stick to one style. but I always want my music to be timeless
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Probably Jorja Smith and Bruno Mars, highly unlikely but we have to dream!
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Be a rule maker not a rule follower.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Im really weird, my music can range from disco, to a slow piano ballad. Music is about the feel not the genre.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Vision for the song to be outside of the box as well as drums and precision.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: vision, quality and ahead of time sonics.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: Its different every time
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: Its simple, I don't work fancy! some of the best music I have made has just been with my laptop and headphones, its the beauty of modern music. However I do love my NI gear as well as Ableton Live.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Right at the top, for me, is Quincy Jones. Also producers like Timbaland, Calvin Harris, Marc Ronson as well as Pharrell.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Anything Production related
