  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: A track by my alter ego 'Marc Samuel' called 'you know'. I produced and co wrote the track and it was the first time I felt proud of my work.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Music for Olivia Rose and others, also trying to define my sound.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: I haven't used it much yet so I don't know.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Both, Digital is dangerous to the music tech world in a positive way, the things you can do is crazy. But the sound out of analog is just the best.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: I will work as hard as I can to create your vision

  12. A: Having the power to change peoples lives with your music.

  16. A: That I am too young.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Make sure they have a vision.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My Laptop, My headphones, My midi keyboard, my rockits and a microphone.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: My career is just starting, I'm trying to shape my path now.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I try not to stick to one style. but I always want my music to be timeless

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Probably Jorja Smith and Bruno Mars, highly unlikely but we have to dream!

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Be a rule maker not a rule follower.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Im really weird, my music can range from disco, to a slow piano ballad. Music is about the feel not the genre.

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Vision for the song to be outside of the box as well as drums and precision.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: vision, quality and ahead of time sonics.

  38. A: Its different every time

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: Its simple, I don't work fancy! some of the best music I have made has just been with my laptop and headphones, its the beauty of modern music. However I do love my NI gear as well as Ableton Live.

  41. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  42. A: Right at the top, for me, is Quincy Jones. Also producers like Timbaland, Calvin Harris, Marc Ronson as well as Pharrell.
