Versatile trained vocalist and arranger. NO AUTOTUNE used for a clean and natural result. Emotionally driven vocals. Meticulous and accurate work. Professionally trained with Italian singer and vocal coach Tony D’Alessio (X Factor 7’s semifinalist, more than 30 years of touring around the world and frontman of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso).

🇮🇹 🇬🇧 I CAN WORK BOTH IN ITALIAN AND ENGLISH.

I am a professionally trained vocalist with Italian singer and vocal coach Tony D’Alessio (X Factor 7’s semifinalist, more than 30 years of touring around the world and frontman of Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, a popular progressive Rock band).

I specialize in vocals, specifically lead and background.
Vocal training has given me the opportunity to fully explore my voice and, consequently, to develop a wide vocal range that I put at the service of my works.
In fact, I am able to sing in several vocal styles, including Pop, Soul, R&B, Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Country, Electro and Rock.
However, I can adjust my tone to fit your needs and direction.

One of my favorite things to do is arranging vocal harmonies creatively: depending on the track I am working on, I enjoy putting together different kinds of timbres and stylistic influences in order to create the right atmosphere and give more personality to the song; they make it sound slightly vintage/retro and, yet, Pop and radio friendly.
To have an idea, I would suggest checking out the the audio sample I added to the current page.

Furthermore, I also offer topline/songwriting services (I am currently working on my first album, which features original songs and lyrics written by me).

I can assure you the utmost professionalism, fairness and transparency.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

Interview with Alessandro Landolfi

  1. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  2. A: My strongest skill is my vocal timbre. Not only is it distinctive and unusual, but also soulful, versatile and, especially, emotion driven. Consequently, this gives me the opportunity to deliver heartfelt performances and to find the most pertinent and personal key to interpret a song. Moreover, I am a trained vocalist (nowadays, I am still taking voice lessons). Hence, my not only does technique allow me to me adjust my voice to fit your needs and direction, but also to sing with a wide vocal range and through different vocal registers (fry, chest, mixed, head and falsetto). In addition, I am really agile and able to execute really complex runs and riffs and harmonize them. Last but not least, one of my strongest skills is arranging vocal harmonies: depending on the track I am working on, I enjoy putting together different kinds of timbres and stylistic influences in order to create the right atmosphere and give more personality to the song. To have an idea, I would suggest checking out the the audio sample I added to the current page.

  3. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  4. A: I would love to work with many! First of all, I would like to join Beyoncé, Lauryn Hill or Italian singer Giorgia in the studio. They are such masters at arranging harmonies and vocals, so I would take advantage of that experience to soak up as much information as possible! Secondly, it would be an enormous pleasure to get to work with Stevie Wonder, experience the writing and recording process and learn all the tricks used by his engineers to make the instruments and his vocals sound in the best possible manner. Last but not least, it would be nice to work with some amazing artists like Christina Aguilera, Paolo Nutini, Joss Stone and Jessie J. They are all amazingly talented vocalists who love playing their voices like instruments, so it would be a great opportunity to watch them recording and see how they manage to get the best out of their voices.

  5. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  6. A: I use a Rode NT1-A, a cardioid condenser microphone which "has become an industry standard; delivering the warmth, extended dynamic range, clarity and high SPL capability typically only featured on some of the world’s most expensive microphones"; AKG K271 MKII headphones; a PRESONUS AudioBox (interface); a MacBook Pro 13"; Studio One/Pro Tools. Nonetheless, I am thinking about getting a new microphone, interface and editing software.

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital because it is more efficient.

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: I make sure your song sounds personal, unique and emotion driven. My background vocals will give that extra touch that will make it sound captivating, slightly vintage/retro and, yet, Pop and radio friendly.

  11. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  12. A: Listen to my works on Youtube (Alessandro Landolfi) and Instagram (alessandrolandolfi_) in order to have an idea about what I can bring to your songs. FYI: I have an album of originals coming out soon. When it will be available, I will add the link to Spotify so you can have a listen.

  13. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  14. A: I am currently working on my first album of original songs!

  15. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  16. A: I can assure my clients the utmost professionalism, fairness and transparency. In fact, I am such a perfectionist, therefore I do my work in the most meticulous and accurate way. Furthermore, I use no autotune, so that the final result can sound clean, natural, and, yet, perfectly in tune. Finally, as far as the backing vocals are concerned, I enjoy putting together different kinds of timbres and stylistic influences in the most creative way. As a result, the songs will be characterized by unique and strong personality.

  17. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  18. A: Some of the artists who inspire me the most are Beyoncé, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Adele, Paolo Nutini, Joss Stone, Jeff Buckley, Jessie J, Amy Winehouse, JoJo, Ed Sheeran, Michael Jackson, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Queen and many others!

  19. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  20. A: A project I am especially proud of is my first album, on which I am working on now! After years of voice lessons and singing covers of other artists, I came to a point where I felt like I had experienced so much in my life that I wanted to share it with someone. Consequently, I gathered all the ideas which had come to my mind during the years and I started writing songs out of them! I was the singer, topliner, songwriter (lyrics), vocal arranger and executer of all the harmonies.
