Claudio Ramirez on SoundBetter

Hey, Let's find your sound! Let's take that unique set of influences you've got and turn them into what's gonna set you apart from the rest.

Whether you are starting off with a few chords and lyrics or you've already tracked all your instruments and need help making sense of all that, I can lend you a hand. From polishing the song structure, to mixing, to finding the right color and texture. Wanna add some synths and drum machines? Awesome! Wanna add some vocal harmonies? Right on! Added too much stuff and can't tell what needs to go? It'll be my pleasure!

Mostly Rock and Electronic (especially the fusion between the two) with a soft spot for acoustic music, yet always open to finding new sounds. If you make your music and/or record it in Logic or Live, we are already clicking! English, español & português.

I'd love to hear about your project. Click the 'Contact' button above to get in touch.

I wanted Claudio to take a listen to my album tracks for technical and musical advice. He was truly amazing. His analysis was deep and accurate. Any criticisms were constructive and I pretty much agreed with every one. His understanding of music and how the various part come together is exceptional. Check him out. You will not be disappointed.

Claudio is very cool and very easy to work with. He's a multi-instrumentalist with a great ear who knows Logic Pro inside out. He is professional, focused, and creative. Highly recommended!

Interview with Claudio Ramirez

  1. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  2. A: Both. Analog front end - in the box mixing - analog warming and summing. I'm used to relying on digital for its ability to recall, but a few transistors and transformers are always welcome!

  3. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  4. A: I started studying music when I was in high school, specializing in acoustic-electric music. That lead me to sound engineering, so music production was the logical merging of both sides: the artistic and the scientific. I've been producing professionally for over 12 years.

  5. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  6. A: A fresh perspective on their music.

  7. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  8. A: Turning ideas into songs and the endless possibilities that one has to achieve that.
