I’m a caring and honest musician with 20 years of experience. From touring around the world with my pop punk band, to playing dance hall reggae in the Bahamas. I put everything into my drum tracks / live performance and have been involved in multiple different project in many different genres.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: My old band Kapowski made an ep in my studio that has great songs with really well thought out drum parts. The ep is called “The Lodge”.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: A funk tune for artist Justin Lane.

A: I will give it my all!
Q: What do you like most about your job?
A: If you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.
Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?
A: Some people think I only like certain genres that I grew up playing (pop punk/hardcore). But but I a super wide range of music I love to play.
Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?
A: What are you gonna do with this song when it’s finished?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: I’m very thankful that you would consider me and I’m gonna deliver exactly what your song is missing!
Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: My dw kick drums, Orange County snare, Gibraltar thrown, meinl hi hats, and my 20in byzance extra thin hammered crash.
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I’ve been playing drums in and out of bands for 20 years. Fairly new to the session drumming online world, but I believe it’s the future of studio musicians. Especially after 2020.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Very dynamic with deep pockets.
Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?
A: Probably Gary Clark Jr. his musical style fits what I like to play the most.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: If someone hires you, the goal is to make that person absolutely stoked on the final product.
Q: What type of music do you usually work on?
A: Blues, hip hop, reggae, funky stuff.
Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: I want what’s best for the song. I’m a real team player with a good ear for music.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: I bring the track to life!
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I’m the type of person that will obsess over a track before recording it. How ever long it takes to be happy with my drum parts and to make my clients happy with what I do.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I ain’t gonna lie, my studio room is amazing. It’s a cedar wall, carpeted, a frame, live room of my apt above a 3 car garage. It’s ideal for tracking drums. I couldn’t imagine a better sounding room. In my apt (the lodge), I have multiple drum kits of different sizes for whatever a track may need. Meinl cymbals all day. I have telefunken overhead mics. Shure mics on the kit. The mics are running through my model 12 mixer. It’s a simple set up, and the sound is amazing!
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: Ash Soan. He’s really mastered session drumming from a home studio. I’m also super inspired by Yussef Dayes.
