  36. A: I ain’t gonna lie, my studio room is amazing. It’s a cedar wall, carpeted, a frame, live room of my apt above a 3 car garage. It’s ideal for tracking drums. I couldn’t imagine a better sounding room. In my apt (the lodge), I have multiple drum kits of different sizes for whatever a track may need. Meinl cymbals all day. I have telefunken overhead mics. Shure mics on the kit. The mics are running through my model 12 mixer. It’s a simple set up, and the sound is amazing!

  37. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  38. A: Ash Soan. He’s really mastered session drumming from a home studio. I’m also super inspired by Yussef Dayes.
