Q: What's your typical work process?

A: 1. Listening to the song and understanding what is the general feel/vibe of it. 2. Searching for references if not provided. 3. Developing a 'sound' in my head for the song. 4. Mix to achieve that 'sound'.

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

A: This was my very first EP production that i was hired for after graduating. I was hired as producer, recording and mixing engineer by Category 9, a boston based rock n roll band. The reason why i was proud of it is, we definitely worked with what we had at that point, which was actually not much. But we made it work and I consider it as one of my proudest works.

Q: Analog or digital and why?

A: Hybrid. I'm a firm believer in what analog can bring to the sound, but also believe in the efficiency of today's digital technologies.

Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

A: How do you envision the song? What's the vibe you're going for?

Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

A: I've been based in New York since 2018 and have been lucky enough to be given the opportunity to work with notable producers and recording studios like Jerry Barnes and Virtue and Vice and Rift studios.

Q: Can you share one music production tip?

A: Smart and effective decisions. I always ask myself if this element serves the music.

Q: What's your strongest skill?

A: I consider mixing my strongest skill set. Being able to craft a song sonically, so all elements are cohesive and presented as one.

Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

A: I mix mainly ITB, but have a range of analog gear to choose from, essentially I mix using a hybrid set up. Gear includes, 1176, LA2A, LA4A, Distressors, Neve 1081s, Chandler TG2 etc.

Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

A: Communicative, mutual respect, and being able to deliver what was promised.

Q: How would you describe your style?

A: Adaptive. As an audio engineer, I believe my job is largely to serve the clients. Understanding their request and needs and delivering the product that best fits their project.

Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

A: I primarily love the heavier stuff, progressive rock, hard rock, etc. But i do get request to work on alot of other genres like, RnB, Pop, Folk to Jazz.

Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

A: Recording and mixing are what I'm most commonly hired for.
