  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: I recorded a bunch of songs with my wife and many of our close friends. it was so much fun just getting together and creating music from nothing. I was the music director/producer

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: My own music and a 5th children's music CD with my writing partner Deb Snyder.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Not yet, but I hope soon

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Digital seems faster and almost all people are recording that way.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: That I will leave no stone unturned to create the bass part they want.

  12. A: Playing music, making friends and satisfying their musical needs.

  14. A: can I make a video for their song? yes, but I will have to charge extra.

  16. A: That all I do is play rock music.

  18. A: What do they want this song to do for the world.

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: you want a bass player who will enjoy playing your song almost as much as you do. whoever you choose, make sure they want you to be successful.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: one bass one guitar one cello one solar powered recording machine, multi track one microphone

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been playing and recording for 40yrs. I began my career at age 18,

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I play bass and care about what I'm playing my style is to create a bass part that makes the song better, no matter what the genre.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: I enjoy working with all artists. We all have something to ay and to be part of that with someone is a thrill for me.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: I record the bass without eq or compression so the artist can fit the bass in exactly as they choose for mixing

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I like and work on all styles I get a lot of rock, funk and pop music

  34. A: playing bass

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: I will bring a great foundation upon which the song and ride, give support to both the rhythm section as well as the melody.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: I first get familiar with the song,learn the song and then begin recording the bass part.

  39. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  40. A: I have a pro tools 10 rig with a digi 003 black box pre amps and many different bass pre amps chose from.

  42. A: I am inspired by all of us in the music community

  44. A: I record electric, upright bass and some cello
