I believe in precise and quality sound through a mix and master where i believe the client should be amazed with the final product 100% of the time.
As an artist myself, i always look for quality and approachability, when mixing and mastering a clients track I would advise calling through discord to show the process and final product, and to get the artists opinion on any specifics they would like and final touches (e.g. Beat pauses, reverse reverb etc.) to ensure the artist is 100% satisfied with the finished product.
