  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: "Turning Blind Eyes" Austin Jones and The Bootheel Boys. I played lead guitar, produced, arranged and mixed this album.

  4. A: Writing and recording with Sunday Morning Motorcycle Club

  8. A: The amount of people I get to work with.

  9. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  10. A: Theres a silver bullet that works everywhere.

  12. A: Who are you trying to reach with your music?

  13. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  14. A: My acoustic guitar, metronome, laptop, Blue Yeti, mixing headphones.

  15. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  16. A: I've been playing music professionally for the last 13 years. I began studio mixing work in 2014 and have worked on over 75 records since.

  17. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  18. A: I bring a diverse background of musical and and recording experiences. Having has to work with everyone from solo singer-songwriters to premiere new music ensemble Alarm Will Sound I know I have a unique blend of skills to enhance your project.

  19. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  20. A: Acoustic Guitar: Gibson Gospel, Guild DM4, Eastman PCH. All have pickups, and I have multiple large diaphram condenser mics. Nylon String Guitar: 1965 Guild MK II Electric Guitar- Telecaster, Stratocaster, Epiphone Dot, Guild X-170, Danelectro Mod 6, Guild x-100 Amps: 65 Princeton Reverb Reissue, 1949 Gibson BR5, Mid 60s Harmony H420, Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue Mixing: My in home studio setup consists of a UAD Apollo 16, Mackie Big Knob Studio, Alesis Monitor One (Pair).

  22. A: Quest Love, AJR, The Band CAMINO, Brothers Osborne, Charlie Worsham, Eric Clapton, 21 Pilots, Loote, Maren Morris, Jason Isbell, Sam Feldt

  23. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  24. A: I do a 50/50 mix of tracking guitar and remote mixing. This mixing work includes mastering audio.
