Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?
A: An acoustic guitar, 2 picks and 2 packs of strings
Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?
A: I began recording my musical ideas in 2009. I studied Advanced Audio Technology at Mt. San Jactinto College and moved to Los Angeles in 2016 to pursue music and audio production.
Q: What's your typical work process?
A: I like to find multiple ideas on guitar that compliment the artist's track and bring additional musical ideas that enhance the vibe of the track.
Q: Tell us about your studio setup.
A: I record my tracks through a Roland Octa-Capture into Reaper Digital Audio Workstation. I have several guitars and effects pedals capable of different, interesting sounds.
Q: How would you describe your style?
A: Melodic, Inventive
Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: I created a live YouTube show, 919 RDOTJ, displaying musical works in progress and discussing music and audio production techniques. I was inspired by hearing early versions of other artists tracks and following the creative process to show how ideas change and flow over time.
Q: What are you working on at the moment?
A: Creating music and exploring new music ideas for discussion on my YouTube show, 919 RDOTJ.

A: Both! Analog for creative vibey inspiration and Digital for convenience and different creative possibilities.

A: Being creative and adding a complimentary musical perspective to others musical compositions.

A: What are you trying to accomplish with your track? What style are you going for?
Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A: Find someone who compliments your creative vision. Work together to create something greater through inspiring collaboration!

Q: What's your strongest skill?
A: Finding guitar melodies, creating rhythm tracks.
Q: What do you bring to a song?
A: Melodic ideas, strong rhythm tracks, creative guitar sounds.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: My inspiration lies mostly with 70s rock such as Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin and also Heavier rock like Soundgarden. I am also inspired by funk and hip-hop. I enjoy bringing rock style guitar to hip-hop tracks.
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Creating interesting, melodic guitar parts for tracks.
