  1. Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?

  2. A: Probably for the few most famous artists in my country, because I was really happy how it all turned out.

  3. Q: What are you working on at the moment?

  4. A: Few sessions for local artists.

  5. Q: Is there anyone on SoundBetter you know and would recommend to your clients?

  6. A: Currently no. I would recommend it for sure!

  7. Q: Analog or digital and why?

  8. A: Well, I would say analog. It's timeless and 'easy to fix'.

  9. Q: What's your 'promise' to your clients?

  10. A: That they will have precise and great quality guitar parts.

  11. Q: What do you like most about your job?

  12. A: Probably when the client is happy.

  13. Q: What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

  14. A: Do you have any ideas? (for example) Well, I always have an idea.

  15. Q: What's the biggest misconception about what you do?

  16. A: I think there is a thin line between arranging almost whole song, and recording your instruments.

  17. Q: What questions do you ask prospective clients?

  18. A: Do you have any idea in what direction would you like to your song go, in terms of overall sound?

  19. Q: What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

  20. A: Know what you need.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: Fender Strat, Gibson Les Paul, Taylor Acoustic, Fender amp, Marshall amp.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: +10 years I've been doing this. At the beginning I've been playing for cover bands, then got the first session job in studio which brought me in to the session touring world for big artists in my country.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: Melodic, rythm, guitar solos, fills, dynamics, feel and caring for the good sound.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Eros Ramazzotti. Probably because of his musicality and arrangements.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Be open minded.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: Pop, rock, funk, soul, r'n'b, heavy, gospel, reagge etc...

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: Guitar parts and sounds which fits into song.

  35. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  36. A: Quality sounds, parts, ideas, and arrangements with the top-class gear.

  37. Q: What's your typical work process?

  38. A: If we talk about this (online) kind of sessions: Firtstly, I listen to client and his needs and ideas for the song. Then I listen to the song, and think about the parts and gear to get the sound which song and artist need. After listening and thinking, I talk again with the client about my parts and sounds which seems to me that would be appropriate for the song, and if everything is ok I am ready to record.

  42. A: Michael Landau, Tim Pierce, Dann Huff, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, George Benson, Mike Stern, Michael Thompson...

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: Well, it is mostly going to studios in my town/country and working on their songs/projects.

It is no problem for first 3-4 times, after that additional payments needed.
