  2. A: There are so many projects. All albums, which I recorded on digital platforms, are special to me. I feel that I help build dreams and goals, this for me is very rewarding.

  4. A: I work with corporate event band, and digital recording platforms.

  20. A: Trust me, your work will be, just the way you want it.

  21. Q: If you were on a desert island and could take just 5 pieces of gear, what would they be?

  22. A: My Zildjan cymbal set, my Tama drums, my Speed ​​​​cobra dual pedal, a Dennis chambers signature snare drum, and a Takamine guitar to chill out.

  23. Q: What was your career path? How long have you been doing this?

  24. A: I've been working with music since I was 18 years old (now I'm 38 years old), I started my music career, working with metal bands. Where I had the privilege of working, in various genres of the style. After a few years, I started working with corporate event bands, where I started to play a lot of different styles. In all these years of my career, I've always prioritized drums studies, today I have the confidence to say that I'm a drums professional.

  25. Q: How would you describe your style?

  26. A: I describe my style as eclectic, unprejudiced, and a lover of well-crafted music. Always respecting the language, and attentive to the feelings and dynamics of each song.

  27. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  28. A: Dave Mathews, for his eclecticism.

  29. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  30. A: Of maximum attention, in each part of the song, recording part by part. This will bring quality from beginning to end of each song.

  31. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  32. A: I usually work with some styles. Soul, jazz, Brazilian music, Reggae, World music, Rock, Progressive Rock, Death metal, Black metal, Progressive Metal, Metalcore, Hardcore, among others...

  33. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  34. A: My greatest skill is to meet the customer's wishes as much as possible. Customer satisfaction is mine too.

  35. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  36. A: My studio is 25 square meters with simple treatment where I have a very lively drums sound. Recording equipment of excellent level. Superlux and Arcano microphones. Zildjan K Custom Dark Cymbals. Drums Tama Silverstar with Evans skins. 16-channel Tascam interface, recorded with the Reaper software. For videos I have a CANON EOS 1300D camera. I edit videos with VEGAS 14.

  37. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  38. A: I bring to the music, all the feeling that the client seeks and all the respect that the language of the style demands. I usually do everything the customer wants.

  39. Q: What's your typical work process?

  40. A: The client contacts me, talks about his project, tells me what he expects from the drums to be recorded, sends me sound references. I also receive sheet music with the drums part, I usually also receive drums programmed so that I do exactly the same or use it as a reference. Guitar guides with or without a metronome are part of the beginning of the creative process. After that, I record with the utmost commitment and send it to the client, who usually approves it as soon as he receives the first recording or returns me with a request for modifications where I do exactly what the client wants and send it to finish the job.

  42. A: I have a great admiration for Vinnie Colaiuta, Steve Gadd, Dave weckl, Cuca Teixeira, Danny Carey, Kiko Freitas. Quincy Jones, Dave Grohl, Hermeto Pascoal, João Bosco, Elis Regina, among others.

  43. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  44. A: The most common type of work I do is to record authorial compositions and covers. I work with sheet music and find it easy to use different rhythms. I think of music without borders and without prejudice, always respecting the language and characteristics of each style.
