SangvinSongs on SoundBetter

Very experienced songwriter, topliner and lyricist living in Copenhagen, Denmark. It's all about hitting the nerve - in the melody, the lyrics and the production. That's what makes my heart beat..!

I work with all kinds of producers and artists, big or small. What matters is the music; if it moves me, I'm in!
I'm signed to TG Management&Publishing, pitching songs to artists, film and TV in Asia, US and Europe.

Interview with SangvinSongs

  1. Q: Which artist would you like to work with and why?

  2. A: I would love to work with Bruno Mars, because he is such a skilled artist and performer. He can really give life to both heartfelt ballads and groovy dancesongs.

  3. Q: Can you share one music production tip?

  4. A: Have balls to go out on a limp - that refreshes everything.

  5. Q: What type of music do you usually work on?

  6. A: Mostly pop, urban pop and AC.

  7. Q: What's your strongest skill?

  8. A: I believe my strongest skill is melody. Coming up with a hooky chorus line, or a verse that sings itself...

  9. Q: What do you bring to a song?

  10. A: Real emotion, be it sparkles or tears! I like to keep it simple but with more than one level...

  11. Q: What's your typical work process?

  12. A: I'm very focused when I'm in the process. If I'm not aware of it, I forget to eat and take breaks, so once the ball rolls I keep it rolling... Because I work like that I only take on assignments, when I know I have the time to follow through.

  13. Q: Tell us about your studio setup.

  14. A: I have acces to profesional studios, but mostly I work from home with my little set up. AKA a "Røde" vocal mic and a TC Electronic Konnekt8 and div. keyboards and guitars.

  15. Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?

  16. A: I'm into almost everything, as long as it has a heart :) From Prince&Chaka to Max Martin, I'm in! Gotta say, though, that the very old school stuff like Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Carole King etc still moves me..!

  17. Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.

  18. A: A producer sends me a full track that I top line to (melody and lyrics), or I write songs from scratch to a specific project or artist. (Work from home or from the studio.)
