Adam Gonsalves on SoundBetter

I've mastered thousands of releases for artists around the world. All mastering is done with a custom analog signal chain. Masters include a full suite of digital deliverables. I also cut lacquers in-house if vinyl is part of your release.

I'm a mastering engineer with over 15 years experience and thousands of credits across every genre. My studio Telegraph Mastering is a Northward Acoustics designed FTB room, one of the best mastering studios in the world. Many of my clients are grammy nominees with strong chart presences.

The most important aspect of mastering is communication. Optimal results come from clear expectations from the client and open communication on the process from the engineer. This is a crucial first, middle, and last step.

Mastering is about quality control, assuring translation, and applying corrections or treatments after careful, focused listening. To make our client's music sound it's absolute best we rely on patience, an ear for detail, and the ability to juggle the micro and the macro simultaneously. The right approach to tackling a problem is every bit as important as the tools you use to solve it.

Listen attentively and bring out the best are my guiding principles at Telegraph Mastering.

Adam is a fantastic communicator and obviously dedicated to his craft. One doesn't need to look further than his credits to know that he is obviously highly respected among musicians, labels, and producers. My personal experience with Adam is that he took the time to hear what I wanted and created a master that reflected that input. His work is amazing! He was very easy to communicate with and never made me feel for a second that my independent project wasn't a priority for him, which has to be tough, given that he's very clearly in demand within the industry.
