Interview with Javier Figueira

Q: Tell us about a project you worked on you are especially proud of and why. What was your role?
A: The EP "Madrugada" from Leoparte, which was released on all leading streaming platforms, CD and even on Vinyl. I was next to being the drummer, also the producer/mixer. It was a big project, recording 8 songs with a band consisting of 7/8 players. The result is really nice and I think it's cool to be able to have my first ever "own" Vinyl in my hands.
Q: Can you share one music production tip?
A: Keep it simple
Q: Describe the most common type of work you do for your clients.
A: Playing, mixing and recording or mastering.
Q: What other musicians or music production professionals inspire you?
A: A lot. I really like players like Rex Hardy Jr, Brian Frasier-Moore and Devon Taylor.
